I dunno about that. I appreciate the thought, though. I guess any redeeming qualities I may posses come from my life experiences and some maybe even rub off from those few people I surround myself with. It may sound awfully cliche or corny, but I really do believe I have the best friends and family I could ever ask for. I don’t doubt they’ve helped mold me into the person I am today and some of their best traits have probably rubbed off on me.
“You really got me, you really do
You really need me, like I need you
You really move me, you move me move me
You move me move me move me move me move me, yeah!
You ever love so much your body it aches?
You ever call just to hear me and then just hang up?
You ever catch a glimpse from time to time?
You gotta understand the science of LOVE”—Foxy Shazam. “The Science of Love” Introducing. Ferret Music, 2008.
“I’ve got no plans and too much time.
I feel too restless to unwind.
I’m always lost in thought as I walk a block to my favorite neon sign”—Bright Eyes. “We Are Nowhere and It’s Now” I’m Wide Awake, It’s Morning. Saddle Creek Records, 2005.
“This is the first day of my life. I’m glad I didn’t die before I met you.
But now I don’t care, I could go anywhere with you and I’d probably be happy.”—Bright Eyes. “First Day of My Life” I’m Wide Awake, It’s Morning. Saddle Creek Records, 2005.
