Back by popular demand is one of the team’s most successful fan promotions with the return of its 48 Hours of Intense HEAT presented by Miccosukee Resort & Gaming. The HEAT challenges fans to remain seated for 48 consecutive hours in front of the AmericanAirlines Arena from 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 26 until 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 28. Despite rain, wind, and heat, contestants must endure the elements for a chance to win the Grand Prize of a pair of Lower Level tickets to all 2012 White Hot HEAT Playoff home games. Additional prizes will be announced prior to the start of the promotion. HEAT partners McDonald’s, Haagen-Dazs/Edy’s, Café Bustelo, National Deli, Hooters, Hard Rock Cafe, Entenmann’s, Thomas’, Del Monte Fresh Produce, Papa John’s, Pepsi, Gatorade, Kia, Pinch a Penny Pools, T-Mobile, Ocean Potion and the InterContinental Hotel will all provide products and provisions during the length of the promotion. Contestants can expect to participate in numerous activities during their 48 hour stay and will enjoy visits from HEAT Legends Alonzo Mourning and Tim Hardaway, the HEAT Dancers, Burnie, Banana Man, and other surprise guests.
